Message from Tamil Raligious magazine ' Vainavan Kural "

Members are aware that the Tamil religiuos magazine " Sri Vainavan Kural " is devoted to bring all world vaishnavites under one umbrella. This magazine started with the blessings of all of Ramanuja Sampradaya Acharyas a few years back is doing a great service through their monthly Tamil Magazine.

 They are now engaged in a project in bringing out a book on Tamil Vyakyaanam of 1102 Tiruvoimozhi verses of SRi Nammalzhwar, earlier written by Sri Dewan Bahadur V K Ramanujacharya who is a prominent disciple of Srimath Therazhundur Andavan.

 An appeal made by the publisher in this regard is attached with this. A similar request was made by them earlier several months back and a few of our members have already taken action to support the publication.

 In a speech on the occasion of Tirukkudantha Andavan's 106th Tirunakshtram, H.H has made a special appeal to the devotees to extend finacial support, as the total cost for bringing out the two volume, 1600 pages of work, comes out to Rs. 15 lakhs.

 H.H. has made an endorsement on their appeal also, which you can see at the bottom of the attachment. Please also read the speech of H.H. delivered on this subject on Tirukkudanthai Andavan's Tirunakshtram, wt which time H H has strongly made an appeal to the devotees to support the project.

 Both Sri Oppiliappan Sadagopan and Sri Anbil Ramaswamy have appreciated this effort of the brothers Sri KalyanaRaman and Sri Rangarajan.

 The members can also support in booking pre publication offer of this two volume book at Rs 2000 per set, which itself will be a great support.

 The books are scheduled to be released on 76th Tirunakshtram of Prakirtham Srimushnam Andavan on 24th May, 2012

Srimath Andavan returning to Chennai Ashramam

In continuation to my earlier e mails on H.H. Srimath Andavan's Sancharam, please be informed that due to exigencies , H.H will be retuning to Chennai Ashramam tomorrow morning itself and Perumal and Paduka Aaraadanams will be done therafter in Chennai Ashramam itself. As at present H.H. will be Chennai Ashramam only, till our next announcement.

        Srimath Andavan at Tiruvaheendrapuram

Tiruvaheendrapuram Sri Devanatha Perumal Koil Mahasamprokshanam was performed on 25th April, as scheduled already. Our Acharyan Srimad Andavan could not do Mangalasaasanam on that day, due to heavy rush of pilgrims. This was scheduled yesterday, but it did not happen , as some local issues are still to be sorted out.

H. H. made a visit to nearby place Sornavur, the native village of Sri Upendra Reddiar, our Ashramam devotee as well as President of Sri Paduka Charities.

Due to different issues, H.H. visit to Velamur and Kanchipuram are postponed to a later date.

I got the news that H H will be leaving Tiruvaheendrapuram on Sunday morning, proceed to Madyaranagam via Tirukkoilur and  visit Aviyur, then return to Chennai Ashramam late in the evening.

I will be posting again , if there are any more changes in the programme.

Srimath Andavan's tour programme

I just a received a message that H.H. on completion of Tiruvaheendrapuram visit, might pay a Mangalaasaasanam visit to Ulagalantha Perumal Sannathi,Tirukkoyilur, on 27 or 28 th April ( exact date to be confirmed ), then proceed to newly constructed Andavan Ashramam at Madhyaranagam, very near to Tirukkoilur. From Madhyaranagam, it is likely H.H will visit Velamur on 29th April. At Velamur the newly constructed Saama Veda Patasalai cum Andavan Ashramam is now ready after completion. H.H might do Perumal & Paduka aaraadanams there on 30th April. From Velamur, H.H might make a flying visit to Andavan Ashramam complex in Kanchipuram, where also a new construction of our Ashramam is now ready for occupation, besides renovation of Permal and Acharyan sannthis there.

On cpmpletion, H.H. is likely to return to Chennai Ashramam.

Villivakkam Ashramam Temple

Sri Padmavathi Sametha Sri Srinivasa Perumal Koil at Villivakkam, Chennai

 

 

Members may be aware that our Ashramam is administering and maintaining a Temple in Tirumangalam Road,Villivakkam, Chennai. This is Sri Padmavathi Sametha Sri Srinivasa Perumal Koil. This temple was earlier known as Sri Rama Bhakta Anjaneyar Koil and in course of time Sri Ramar, Sri Srinvasar, Padmavathi Thayar, Sri Chakrathazhwar got added.

As per the guidelines of H.H. it is planned to renovate this Temple, conforming to Pancharatra Agama Sastras.

To begin with, is proposed to do Baalaalaya Prathishtai on the morning of 26th April, 2012. Preceding this Ankurarpanam will be done the previous evening.

We invite all those living near to the temple to participate in the events and get the blessings of Perumal Thayar and our Acharyan.

H.H.Sri RangaRamanuja Mahadesikan is now on a visit to Tiruvaheendrapuram, hwere we have an Ashramam as well as a Veda patasalai. He will be attending Mahasamprokshanam of Sri Devanathaswamy Temple scheduled on 25th April,2012.

On completion of Mahasamprokshanam, H.H is scheduled to visit Velamur, a place which is very close to His heart being the place from where He went on to take Sanyasa Ashramam at Srirangam.All of you are aware that through our Achryan's initiative, a 3 tier Rajagopuram has come for the Temple there, besides renovated Sannathi of the famous Velamur Acharyan, Upanishad Bhashyakarar Sri RangaRamanuja Mahadesikan, whose name He is now adorning.

Being the place, where Sama Vedam flourished in those days, H.H. took the initiative to build a Sama Veda Patasalai at Velamur. This has come up at a site adjacent to the TEmple,and Grihapraves Vastu Homam is planned to be held on 26th April, 2012. After that H.H. will be performing Aradanams on that day as well as 27th April. From Velamur camp, it is likely that he will make flying visit to Kanchipuram Ashramam, where the old buildings are getting renovated, along with Perumal and Therazhundur Andavan Brindavanam. Adjacent to this an Ashramam cum Patasalai complex has come up replacing an old tiled structure.

Most probably H.H. will be back in Chennia on 27th evening. But , I will give an update subsequently. If any of Ashramam sishya, who is travelling to these places around this time,is welcome to post mails to our group members, if any change in programme is happening

The credit for all these goes to our Ashramam devotee and yahoo group member Sri Ramesh Ramanujam, who has flown all the way from Dubai with all his latest gadgets and had all the patience to be in front of the function area to cover the whole event. Not only this, but taken all efforts to put them in a movie format in youtube, for the benefit of all of us. Another good news is that he is planning to do a similar exercise for the forthcoming Vaikasi Tiruvadirai Tirunakshtarm fiunction of Prakirtham Andavan also. At Srirangam Nam Perumal's vijayam to Andavan College

At Srirangam, during Aadhibrahmothsavam, Nam Perumal visited Srimad Andavan College, on 4th April, 2012, a day prior to panguni Uthiram Festival. Secretary of the college Sri Kasthurirangan made elaborate arrangements so that the college along with the students and staff members get the blessings of Nam Perumal. I had the opportunity to be there at that time and took some movie clips on the occasion, along with Sri Devanathan of Eyetex company.. I just pictured the beautiful clean and green atmosphere of the college, for you to have a look. All those present received theertham and Chatari   The link for the video is given below
